a little about Disco Dining Club

Disco Dining Club is a thematic food and drink event that revels in all the excess, debauchery, and hedonism of disco. It is the belief of Disco Dining Club that there were moments of decadence throughout history that led to the ultimate decadence: disco. Whether a historical era (e.g. Hall Of Mirrors, Faberge), an artistic movement (e.g. Surrealism), or an iconic piece of culture (e.g. Marlene Dietrich’s Shanghai Express), Disco Dining Club recreates these colorful moments through the lens of a theatrical dinner party. At Disco Dining Club, we ask but one thing of our guests: to consume everything.

"Disco Dining Club invites me in with open arms to a familiar kind of weird I’m ready to lose myself in." - Playboy

"It has the heart of an after-hours club but revels in the gilded decadence most below-radar nightlife is out to destroy" - LA Times

a little about The Grim Wreather

Unapologetically weird and super fun to work with, Andy is a sought after art director and branding guru working for companies like Napster and Google. His most recent business adventure is the Grim Wreather, a uncanny and thoughtful twist on Christmas wreaths that delight horror movie buffs and the fashion world elite. His wreaths have been collected by luminaries like Dita Von Teese, Rafeal De Cardenas, Carol Lim and David Sandberg. Andy was recently commissioned by Opening Ceremony to make twisted hand made Christmas ornaments for their Holiday 2018 shop and he hosted one of his sought after workshops replete with tarot readings. His most ambitious retail project to date was a Grim Wreather take over commissioned by Nordstroms and Nike for holiday.

a little about Chef Laurent Quenioux

After working and honing his skills in some of the finest kitchens in France, Laurent moved to the United States with a team from L’Oasis at La Napoule to open The Regency Club in Los Angeles. In 1985, he introduced the celebrated and award-winning 7th Street Bistro in downtown Los Angeles, serving groundbreaking French Nouvelle California cuisine which became a favorite spot for the mayor and Hollywood celebrities. Subway construction led to the closing of the 7th Street Bistro after a decade, and Laurent spent the late 1990s as the Executive Chef for Dodgers Stadium. In the early 2000s, he returned to his restaurant roots with the debut of the cozy Bistro K in Pasadena, earning accolades for his originality and precision with a revolutionary menu designed to open the senses and minds of his guests to new possibilities, tastes and textures. With the opening of Bistro LQ in July 2009, Laurent brought his edgy style and ingenuity to a larger & more central location in Los Angeles near West Hollywood. Presently Laurent is working on a biographic book project while cooking at his popular experimental “Fooding” Supper Club @MaMaison and around Los Angeles, London, Paris and Amsterdam.
